Following this, the film or print is exposed to fixer (hypo). This immediately halts the developing process by neutralizing the developer. These two bath processing kits can be used at a variety of temperatures with the same equipment you already process your black and white film with at home. Normally, when development is completed, films and papers are subjected to a stop bath rinse. XP2 SUPER also provides enhanced negative contrast for optimum black & white print quality. Ilford Ilfostop is a low odor acid stop bath. It has a particularly wide exposure latitude and delivers excellent results, including well-defined highlights and shadows, even in unpredictable lighting or high-contrast scenes where there can be wide-ranging subject brightness.
